Research conducted by a non-governmental organization such as a HIV testing of HOPE, shows that between ten women sex workers who tested four of them are diagnosed with HIV.
Speaking to East Africa Radio Institute, Mr. Chairman. Onesimus Mwihava said they had been doing exercise testing in the palaces of enjoyment, bars and in some brothels informal and that despite the existence of the government's efforts to eradicate the sex trade but many of those who sold are found are infected or have a sexually transmitted disease.
In addition, Mr. Mwihava said that many have been cautious with the issue of pregnancy and stop taking risks that in getting infected with sexually transmitted diseases which in their research, among the ten people who dared to test out their places tend to sexually transmitted diseases.
He added that one of the biggest victims of the virus, as well as sexually transmitted diseases are young people from taking risks by having unprotected sex and that the situation is often attributed to the exchange rate was made in favor of the service.
