A South Sudanese woman accused of serving alcohol to minors at her Phenom Estate house in Langata, Nairobi, has been released on bond.
Mary Nanyuk, a wife of a top military general, was ordered to deposit a Sh500,000 bond with two Kenyan sureties or pay a Sh100,000 cash bail.
She will also deposit her passport in court.
A second count of being in Kenya illegally seems to have hit a wall after the prosecution said she had a valid visa.
Ms Nanyuk was to appear in court on Thursday but a production order was issued for Wednesday for application of a bond that the prosecution did not oppose.
